Ethics Olympiad and Debating
Norwood International High School students, from the IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma) programme, participated in the Ethics Olympiad on Thursday 25 May with other schools across the state. They engaged with ethical problems, considered all sides, and argued for what they though was ethical. These IBDP students enjoyed the day so much they are considering sharing the Ethics Olympiad format with the wider school as a CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service, IBDP Core subject) project.
NIHS students continued show-casing their critical thinking when debating teams from all year levels met for the first round of the Debating SA competition.
3 out of 4 NIHS Debating teams won their debate, which is a big first week of a competition that encompasses over 3000 students and 66 SA schools.
Please join us in congratulating NIHS Debating Club and Ethics Olympiad students.
