New Sport Uniform

The Winter Sport Season kicked off for our sporting teams last weekend, with students representing Norwood International High School across basketball, netball, soccer, badminton & table tennis.


It was super exciting to have the basketball, netball and soccer teams sporting our newly designed and branded playing uniforms for the first time!




Term 2 - Round 1 Sports Report

Mixed Table Tennis:

In a dominant performance, NIHS's Middle School team secured a resounding victory over Prince Alfred College with a final score of 17-3. Lily and Isaac were the standout players of the match, exhibiting excellent table tennis skills and contributing significantly to their team's success.


Girls Badminton:

The Senior B team faced a tough opening challenge from St. Dominic's Priory College, resulting in a 0-6 loss for NIHS. Despite the defeat, Annabel and Angelica displayed impressive skills, earning recognition as the best players of the match.


In the Middle division, NIHS had a thrilling encounter with St. Aloysius College. The match ended in a draw with a score of 3-3, but NIHS emerged as the winners based on total points. Chloe and Yodi were exceptional in their performance, showcasing their talent and earning the title of the best players.


Girls Netball:

NIHS's Senior team faced a strong opponent in Gleeson College, resulting in a challenging match. Unfortunately, NIHS was unable to secure a win, with Gleeson College emerging victorious with a score of 42-19. Despite the loss, Claire and Ruby stood out as the best players for NIHS, displaying skill and determination on the netball court.


In the Year 9 competition, NIHS faced St. Mary's College and delivered an outstanding performance, securing a convincing victory with a score of 44-7. Kyanna and Bella were the standout players of the match, contributing significantly to their team's success.


Similarly, in the Year 8 division, NIHS faced a challenging match against Cabra Dominican College. Despite their best efforts, NIHS couldn't secure a win, and Cabra Dominican College emerged victorious with a final score of 33-4. Hazel and Jasmine were recognized as the best players on the day.


Boys Basketball:

NIHS's Open/Senior A team faced a tough first up opponent in Westminster School, resulting in an uphill battle for all of the Senior A, B and C teams. Despite NIHS's best efforts, we were unable to overcome Westminster School, resulting in heavy losses for all teams. Edward and Connor were named best players for the A team, Daniel and Burhan for the B's with Dominik and Alex playing well for the C team.


The middle teams also faced Westminster School with some more favourable results compared to the senior teams. The A team despite a strong start were unable to overcome the skill and dominance of Westminster School, resulting in a loss (69-27). Muhammed and Austin were recognized as the best players for NIHS, exhibiting their skills and determination.


The middle B team delivered a strong first up performance, securing a victory with a score of 58-14. Saaim and Noah were the standout players for NIHS.


Similarly, the middle team emerged victorious with a score of 47-25. Aryan and Noah were awesome in their first game of the season.


Boys Soccer:

The middle A team came up against Rostrevor College, a formidable opponent. Unfortunately for the boys, Rostrevor College emerged victorious with a score of 9-0. Dante and Alexios were the best players for NIHS, displaying strong leadership despite the loss.
