Transition Programs & Forum for Parents/Carers of Children with Disability

The National Disability Insurance Agency would like to invite SA students with a disability in Years 10-12, their parents, carers and education professionals to attend a virtual information session on building skills and paving a pathway to post-school life. This session will provide an opportunity to discuss NDIS-funded supports and other assistance to help young people to build skills to prepare for their transition, and to support them in the achievement of their employment and other goals, post-school. Attendees include students and families.

Parents and carers of children with disability are invited to join a free parent forum on Friday 27 May. This continues the series of forums for parents provided by the department.


The forum will open with the keynote by Angela Falkenberg, President SA Primary Principals Association titled ‘Self-care is not selfish – When we are at our best, we play better, work better and parent better’.

Other presentations on the day will include an update on current projects and policies, One Plan and the Inclusive Education Support Program (IESP) funding.
